Pembroke - Edna Mae Barnard Fields, 79, died Sunday morning, St. Joseph's Hospital.

Mrs. Fields had lived all of her life in Pembroke and was a bookkeeper for Coastal Gas and a homemaker. She was a member of Pembroke Christian Church and was involved in The Christian Women's Fellowship. Mrs. Fields was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Mr. Ben Grady Fields Sr.

Survivors: son and daughter-in-law, Ben G. & Linda Fields Jr. of Pooler; brothers, Calvin and Gerald Barnard of Pembroke and Bobby Barnard of Denmark; grandchildren, Private Nicholas Fields of Germany and Nolan and Christopher Fields, both of Pooler.

Funeral Services: 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Morrison Memorial Chapel with Dr. Dwight Irons officiating.

Burial: Northside Cemetery.
