Mrs. Braden, a former resident of Sulphur, died Saturday, August 8, after a lengthy illness. She was born in Earlsboro, OK and grew up in Sulphur. She attended the Oklahoma School for the Deaf.
Survivors include her husband, Charles F. Braden, a daughter, Velma Jean McComas, of Derby, Kansas; three sons, Charles A. Braden, of Chicago, ILL., Lester and Jeff Braden, of Catoosa; 10 grandchildren; six sisters, Doris Wise, Vaughn, Montana; Carolyn LaRue, Dallas, Texas; Nancy Hein, Conway Springs, Kansas; Mary Holliman, Roanoke, Texas; Betty Gilreath, Hartshorne, OK; and Margaret Parkhurst, Reseda, California; and five brothers, Richard and Jerry Watson, Visalia, California; Floyd Watson, Jacksonville, Florida; Robert Watson, Tulsa and Harold Watson, Merced, California.
She was preceded in death by her parents; J. W. and Vera M. Watson and brother, Doyle Watson.
