Mrs. Elizabeth Tate, wife of Joseph Tate, Sr., departed this life July 19, 1914. Aged 55 years. She was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church, in which she lived a devoted Christian until her death. She was a woman loved by all who knew her. She leaves a husband, nine children, a host of relatives and friends to mourn their loss, but their loss is her eternal gain. The family have the sympathy of the entire community in this sad bereavement. But let us not sorrow as those that have no hope, but strive for a happy reunion with her, and all our dear departed ones, in that eternal home, of love beyond these tears, these heartbreaks and sad partings, for she is not dead, but sleepeth.
