SURGOINSVILLE -- Mrs. Irene Vaughn, 86, of Route 2, died at 12:30 p.m. Sunday in Hawkins County Memorial Hospital Nursing Home following a long illness.
She was a member of the Meadow View Baptist church and the widow of Charles Vaughn Sr.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Billie Barrett and Mrs. Eula Hurd and Mrs. Mable Vaughn, all of Surgoinsville; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Colboch-Price Funeral Home is in charge."

Funeral services for Mrs. Irene Vaughn will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday from Colboch-Price Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. E.C. Hageman and the Rev. Robert Bean officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7-9 p.m. Monday. Colboch-Price Funeral Home, Rogersville, is in charge of arrangements."
