Mrs. Ward leaves a son: Claude L. Ward of Greenville, Mississippi; four daughters, Clara Honeycutt of Blytheville, Arkansas, Lilly Lockwood of Orlando, Florida, Elizabeth Cantrall of Higley, Arizona, and Sally Duncan of Gosnell, Arkansas; 16 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
One son, Lawrence Ward, preceded her in death.
Burial was at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Steele, with arrangements by German-Aumon Funeral Home of Steete.
