Mrs. Ola Mae Dye, 90, died Saturday, August 27, 1994, at Berrien General Hospital, Maddox Center, in Berrient Center, Mich.
Born February 11, 1904 at Camden, Tenn., Mrs. Dye was the daughter of the late James Lafayette Whitfield and Lou Ellen Matlock Whitfield.
She was the widow of John Dye, who died August 9, 1969.
Mrs. Dye leaves three sons: Rev. Wilson Dye of Vicksburg, Mich., and George Dye and James McTheeny of Benton Harbor, Mich.;
Seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and five great-great-
grandchildren.
She was the aunt of J.L. Whitfield, David Whitfield,and Buck Whitfield all of Steele, and and Douthit Whitfield, of Camden, Tenn.
Graveside services wre held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday , August 31, 1994, at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele with Rev. Wilson Dye officiating.
