Isabel Boykin Hamilton, 94, formerly of Atlanta and Ozona, FL, passed away on Feb. 25, 2011 at the residence of her grandson in Roswell, following a brief illness. Isabel was born Sept. 3, 1916 in Atlanta, GA; she was the daughter of John A. and Julian Perdue Boykin of that city. Isabel was a graduate of Washington Seminary and Stephens College. Isabel was predeceased by her husband of 41 years, Robert P. Hamilton Sr., and a son, John B. Hamilton, Jr. Survivors include a son, Robert P. Hamilton Jr of Dahlonega, three nieces, five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 1 pm April 2 at Westview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of John Boykin Hamilton Sr.
