Services for Mr. Evans will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 21 at Hunter Funeral Home in Watertown with the Rev. Kenneth Tramel officiating. Burial will be at Carlen Cemetery in Silver Point.
Mr. Evans, 83, died Thursday, Nov. 19, 1992 at residence in the Shop Springs Community. A native of Putnam County, he resided in Shop Springs since 1945 and was a farmer and businessman. Mr. Evans was affiliated with the Methodist
church and was the son of the late Grover Cleveland Evans and Mattie Bates Evans.
Survivors include his wife, Edna Holland Evans; daughter and soninlaw, Charlene and Lewis McCoy of Watertown; granddaughter, Darlene Middleton of Louisville, KY; greatgrandchildren, Angela McCorkley of Louisville and Beth and Katie Middleton of Louisville.
