Pleasant View – Vivian Alford "Vic" Taylor died March 11, 2011 at his home. He was born June 9, 1929 in Ogden the son of Vivian Alford and Anna Elizabeth Henstra Taylor. He lived in Riverdale until age 17 then moved to Morgan. He served in the Army during the Korean War. He married Jacquline Mumford November 22, 1965 in Riverdale, she passed away in 2008.

Vivian enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping. He worked for Lloyd's Heating and Cooling.

Vivian is survived by his son Tony R. Bittain; daughters, Barbara (John) Donnery, Margie Aldous; 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Harold Elmer (Margaret)Taylor, Donald Daniel (Shirley)Taylor; two sisters, Lois McCloy and Florence Cox.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 43 years; 4 brothers, Alford, John, Neil and David; 2 sisters, Ardeil and Ann; great-grandson, connor James Arnold and son-in-law, Craig G. Aldous.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at Myers Evergreen Memorial Park. Friends may call at Myers Ogden Mortuary prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Military honors will be accorded.
