Our dear mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, Lois T. McCloy Heald, returned to her Heavenly Father March 2, 2017. Lois was born April 2, 1922 to Anna Henstra and Vivian A. Taylor in Ogden, UT. She was the seventh of eleven children. She graduated from Weber High School. Lois married Robert "Bert" McCloy on May 23, 1942. Their marriage was solemnized July 31, 1961 in the Logan Temple. They loved to fish, go camping, and spend time with family. They have six children. Bert died March 13, 1980. Lois married James "Jim" Heald June 5, 1982. They loved to travel. Jim passed away June 20, 2000.

She loved to make afghans, garden, and she loved her family. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Lois is survived by her children: Tauna (Warren) Walker, Dixie (Ron) Bryant, Brent (Trena) McCloy, Rick (Jewell) McCloy, and Dennis McCloy; and daughter-in-law Mary McCloy. She has 23 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, and eight great-great grandchildren.

Survivors include one sister, Florence Cox; three sisters-in-law: Margaret Taylor, Shirley Taylor and Zona Taylor; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husbands Bert and Jim; son, Joe McCloy; and grandsons, Troy Pro and Tracy McCloy; and seven brothers and two sisters.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Leavitt's Mortury, 836 36th St., Ogden, Utah. A viewing will be held Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 10:00 to 10:45 at Leavitt's Mortuary.

Interment, Hooper Cemetery.
