He is survived by his loving wife Margaret Taylor; and their children, Paul D. Taylor (Caroline) of Cambridge, England and Candice Taylor (Nick) of Mesquite, Nevada; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Also surviving are his sisters, Lois McCloy Heald and Florence Cox. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Alford, John, Neal, Harold, David and Vivian; and sisters, Ardell and Ann.
Don's greatest joy was spending time with his family. He enjoyed many fishing and hunting trips with his brothers and sisters and their families. He was also an avid fly fisherman and archer. He loved golfing and skiing and excelled in any sport he tried. He also enjoyed spending time in his workshop. He was a proud veteran of World War II and met his wife Margaret while stationed in England.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. at the Spilsbury Mortuary Chapel, 110 S. Bluff, St. George. There will be a viewing one hour prior to services at the mortuary. Interment will take place in the Tonaquint Cemetery
