John Harley Vaughn, 58, passed away March 31, 1996 at the Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti, Mo.
He was born July 24, 1937 in Braggadocio, Mo.
He was a life long resident of Hayti, Mo. and a loyal businessman, and of Baptist Faith.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Jane Vaughn of Hayti; one son, Jimmy Vaughn of Witchita, Kan.; three sisters Tennie Evett of Coloma, Mich., Hazel Handley of Poplar Bluff, Mo. and Ella Davis of Winnetka, Ill.; four brothers, Mack Vaughn of Blytheville, Ark., T.J. Vaughn of Poplar Blff, Mo., James Vaughn of Poplar Bluff and Lewis Vaughn of Reno, Ark. and three grandhildren.
Funeral services were held April 3, 1996 at 2:30 p.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church in Hayti, Mo. with Dr. Ralph Bruce officiating.
Interment was in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Hayti, Mo.
John German Funeral Home of Hayti, Mo. and Wilson Funeral Home of Blytheville, Ark. in charge of services.
