Ethel V. Speece succumbs at 75, of Lancaster R7, died Monday at her home after a brief illness. She was the wife of Martin A. Speece. Born in Lancaster, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Ella Reese Duncan. She lived in Lancaster her entire life and was a homemaker. She was a member of Church of Christ, Lancaster. She and her husband celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary last Dec 31. Surviving; besides her husband, are three sons, Donald H., Robert M. and Ronald E. Speece, all of Lancaster; eight daughters, Nancy L., wife of Ervin C. Laukhuff III, Faye L., wife of Jack Jacoby, Sandra L., wife of Effinger Blantz, Linda J. Snook, and Cynthia K. Speece, all of Lancaster, Betty J., wife of Clair C. Hamilton, Gordonville, Patricia A., wife of Charles Wood Jr., Manheim and Mary E., wife of Everett Warrington, Felton, Del.; 25 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 22 great-great-grandchildren.
