Roseanna was a devoted mother. On her deathbed she obtained a promise from her sister Elizabeth to care for her children. Her body was weakened from having too many children too quickly. She was very petite and known as a lively, lovely lady. She and her sister Elizabeth were very close friends. Roseanna is descended from the French Heugonauts who immigrated on the ship "The Pink" captained by William Penn Jr.
