A dinner was given in the honor of Mr. and Mrs. Dave Biller on their 55th wedding anniversary at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Heath on Sunday, May 11th.

"Yesteryears" column Sept. 24, 1964
A host of relatives and friends gathered at the Legion Hall in Loretta on Sunday afternoon to help Grandpa Dave Biller celebrate his 92nd birthday. A delicious buffet lunch was served and a beautiful birthday cake was baked by his great granddaughter, Donna Starcz, which held 92 candles.
Music was furnished all afternoon by Roy Heath, Les Heath, and Alton Van Camp, which consisted of old time songs which everyone enjoyed very much. A big thanks to the orchestra was extended.
Out of town relatives and friends attending were from Superior, Ladysmith, Winter, Radisson, Couderay, Park Falls, Washburn, and friends and relatives of the Loretta and Draper communities.

David Biller celebrated his 98th birthday on Sunday, Sept. 20, at the American Legion Hall in Loretta where he formerly made his home.
Roy and Jack Heath played "Happy Birthday" and a few other numbers.
A beautiful cake with 98 candles was presented to Grandpa Biller. A delicious lunch was served to all.

David Biller, age 98, long time resident of the Town of Draper, passed away on Saturday, May 29th at the Extended Care Unit of the Park Falls Hospital following a short illness.
Mr. Biller was born on Sept. 21, 1872 in Bourbon, Indiana. He was united in marriage to Alma McKendry on May 11, 1892 at Elmwood, WI. They came to Sawyer County to reside in 1913 where he was engaged in logging.
