Am I your cousin? Darn it, probably not. Are we related? More than likely that is not the case, however I wish we were as it would make for a genealogy adventure.

I live in the Midwest and one of my current leisure activities is attaching photos and bits of history that I come across to the memorials of local families. Please feel free to share anything I have posted, that's what makes it fun.

Keep in mind the weather, lighting, shade, time of day and plant-life can wreak havoc with the best of intentions when it comes to taking a quality photo. Sometimes you hit that "sweet spot," and other times not so much. Also consider Find A Grave rules discourage cleaning of a stone you do not own.

I appreciate hearing positive comments, inquiries, and suggestions from like-minded members. The naysayers not so much, quit dampening the enjoyment. It's a hobby and we are all volunteers.
