Mr. King was born April 27, 1926, in Houston County and died Monday, Jan. 28, 2002 , at his residence in Cherokee County. Mr. King was a retired maintenance technician for Pilgrim's Cleaners. He served in the U S Navy during WW II from 1943 to 1945. He was a member of the Rusk Church of Christ. Formerly a longtime resident of Houston, he had lived in the Rusk area for the past 12 years.
