Mr. King was born Nov. 9, 1919 in Frankston, Texas and died Saturday in Houston, TX. He was a former resident of Lufkin and Houston. He was a member of the Melrose Masonic Lodge in Houston. He was a veteran of WW II and was a member of Frazier Streeet Church of Christ.
Survivors: wife, Maxine King of Conroe; two sons; a daughter; four brothers, including Cloyce King of Lufkin and four grandchildren.
