A memorial gathering will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, 2000, in Lacey's in Lake Oswego for Barbara Jean Loofburrow, who died Oct. 28 at age 70.
Mrs. Loofburrow was born June 8, 1930, in Glendate, Calif., and grew up Portland. Her maiden name was Buffum. She was a waitress for the Beachcomber Restaurant in the 1970s and later for Lacy's in Lake Oswego, retiring in the early 1990s. In 1952, she married A. KENT LOOFBURROW; he died last year.
Survivors include her sons, Jeffrey and Mark; daughter, Linda Edwards; and five grandchildren. Her son Philip died in 1983.
Disposition was by cremation. Arrangements were by Riverview Abbey Funeral Home.
