Charles Green was born in Tockington Gloucestershire England to Charles Green S.R. & Elizabeth Sprague his wife is Mary Ann Francis . They have 13 children not all lived to be adults. His wife is buried in Riverton Salt Lake Utah. She was born april 2 1842 died Jan 27 1910. Charles Green J.R. & Mary Ann were married in Snowville Box Elder Utah on Nov 24 1862. Charles Green J.R. buried on Aug 20 1887. in the year 1852 in Liverpool England on the ship Ellen Maria it arrived 6 April 1852 Charles Green came to America . He had to wait 3 days for another boat on the James Robb . He crossed the plains in the Moses Clawson Company . He got a job through this company to move settlers around the country , In 1862 he was to do a move & on that move he meet a young lady Mary Ann Francis whom he had occasion to befriend many times on the journey . She had buried her brother John James Francis on the plains & her sorrow & loneliness . He showed her many acts of kindness . There friendship & admiration developed into love . When she got to her arrival point she had no friends or relatives & no place to go . He told if she could accept him & what little he had to offer her , he would make her his wife . They moved to Gunnison Utah where there first child was born in 1863 , they them moved to Richfield Utah where they were farmers . In 1882 they moved to Americian Folk Utah . In July 1887 he was stickened with Typhiod Pneumonia , there was no doctors services there & to relieve his suffering . On the 18 Aug he passed away .
