Born in Franzosen, Russia. Jacob emigrated to the United States 5 Jan 1908. He married Charlotte Summers in 1880 in Wiesenmuller, Volga, Russia. Together they had a total of 17 children and 9 lived. He arrived in Baltimore, Maryland, and then moved to Russell, Kansas in 1908 and received Certificate of Citizenship in 1909. He died in Lincoln, Nebraska.
