She was born May 26, 1889, in Weisenmiller, Russia, a small colony along the Volga River.
She came with her family to America, settling in Russell, Kan. in 1908. She was married to Leo E. Tripple on Aug. 19, 1909, in Russell. He preceded her in death in Twin Falls on May 17, 1958.
She came to Idaho from Wyoming and lived in Hansen, Eden and Twin Falls. She had been a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church all of her life. When younger, she was active in the church.
She lived with her daughter in Mountain Home until she became ill and was a patient at the nursing home for the past several years.
Survivors include two sons, Leo Tripple, Pocatello, and Ted Tripple, Twin Falls; three daughters, Mrs. Ernest (Hilda) Thaete, Buhl, Mrs. George (Minnie) Steinmetz, Eden and Mrs. George (Clara) Minic, Mountain Home; 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be announced by White Mortuary.
