Funeral services for Dorothy Jean Banks, 59, of Houston, will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29, at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Crabb, with the Rev. Stewart officiating.
Dorothy Jean Banks passed away on Oct. 23. She was a life-long resident of Richmond.
Survivors include her father, the Rev. Tyler; and four daughters, Helen Ray Brown of Houston, Erma, Odetta, and Ruby.
Friends may call at the Evans Mortuary, 1201 Preston St., Richmond, from 7 to 9 p.m. on Oct. 28.
