Miss Cynthia D. Pharr was married last night at 8 o'clock, to Mr. James P. Garner. The ceremony took place at the home of the mother of the bride, Mrs. M. B. Pharr, at 218 North College street, and was performed by Rev. J. A. Dorritee, pastor of Westminster Presbyterian church. The bridal couple left last night for Asheville, where they will spend several weeks. Mr. Garner is a representative of the Oglesby-Dewitt Company, of Lynchburg, Va. he and his charming bride have many friends here.
