Services for Cleo Vernice Hanna Palmer, 83, of Tyler are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednes-day in the chapel of Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Hamilton officiating. Burial will be at Ash Cemetery near Athens.
Mrs. Palmer went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 1, 2010, in Tyler. She was born Feb. 6, 1927, in Henderson County to the late Thomas and Alice Featherston. She lived in Tyler the past 60 years, previously living in Brownsboro, and was a member of Leagueville Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by three daughters, Johnnie Elizabeth, Alice and Betty Hanna; five brothers, Sidney, Vernon, Weldon, Louis and Harlon Featherston; and by two sisters, Mozelle Blackledge and Belle Perry.
She is survived by her loving family, a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Margaret Hanna of Lindale; daughter and son-in-law, Lucy and Jimmy Aydelott; two brothers, Billy and Pete Featherston; a sister, Martha Willingham of LaRue; eight grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Wesley Hanna, Marshall Hanna, Barney Westberry, Jerry Willingham, Larry James Featherston and Raymond Cotton. An honorary pallbearer is Michael Wilson, U.S. Air Force.
