BAXTER Funeral services for Lloyd Denton Anderson, 62, of Silver Point, will be held at 2 p.m. on Thurs., June 21, from the Baxter Chapel of Hooper & Huddleston Funeral Home. Burial will be in Smellage Memory Gardens in the Boma Community of Putnam County. The family will receive friends after 11 a.m. on Wed., June 20, at the funeral home.
Mr. Anderson died on Tues., June 19, 2001, at his home in Silver Point.
He was born on Aug. 18, 1938, in Putnam County to the late Collie and Ruby Johnson Anderson. Mr. Anderson was a foreman with Civil Construction Company. He was a member of the Silver Point Church of Christ.
His family includes his wife, Ethel Sutton Anderson of Silver Point; two sons and a daughterinlaw, Larry and Dale Anderson of Nashville, and Ricky Anderson of Silver Point; a sister, Linda Carr of Baxter; six brothers, Junior Anderson of Buffalo Valley, Bud and Joe Anderson, both of Silver Point, Ray Anderson of Mayfield Village, Ohio, Dean Anderson of Cookeville, and David Anderson of Gordons-ville; and two grandchildren, Dusty and Cody.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Charlene Anderson, and a brother, Carl Anderson.
