Chester "Bill" Duggan, age 79, of Umpire, died Thursday, January 27, 2011.

He was born on August 15, 1931, at Lodi, the son of John Duggan and Iva Echols Duggan.

On April 10, 1954, he was married to Dorothy Duggan who preceded him in death on January 28, 2002.

He is survived by four children and their spouses, Mike and Paula Duggan of Stillwell, Oklahoma, Rick and Rinda Duggan of Newhope, Dorothy Ann and Rodney Cogburn of Umpire and David and Carol Duggan of Dierks; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Richard Duggan of Lodi; three sisters, Alta Hammel of Orland, California, Alma Matthews of Glenwood and Bonnie Pounds of Kirby; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, January 31, 2011, at the Lodi Free Will Baptist Church with Bro. Bobby Golden and Bro. Don Vaughn officiating.

Visitation will be held Monday, 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM, at the funeral home.

Interment will be in the Lodi Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.

Pallbearers will be Joey Moore, James Burgess, Kenny Cogburn, Gearald Cogburn, Jason Vic and Tim McCormick.
