Dorothy D. Jacobs, 72, of Georgetown, widow of Charles E. Jacobs, died Sunday, Oct. 30, 2005, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2005, at Eastside Free Will Baptist Church.
Burial, directed by Graham Funeral Home, will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Jacobs was born Jan. 1, 1933, in Georgetown County, a daughter of the late Thomas Ervin Davis and Isla Mae Blakely Davis. She was a member of Eastside Free Will Baptist Church. She also was a member of the Adult Sunday School Class and the Church Auxiliary. She was a homemaker.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Dale J. Henderson.
Surviving are two daughters, Gladys J. Wood and Charlene J. Sessions, both of Georgetown; a brother, Ervin "Gator" Davis of Andrews; three sisters, Bernice Martin, Mary Alice Mathis and Vernie "Skeeter" Mercer, all of Georgetown; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
