EL Paso- Dorothy Mae Roth, 69, of El Paso, IL, passed away at 3:25 pm on Saturday, February 5, 2011, at her residence.
She was born on January 27, 1942, in Kappa, IL, a daughter of Benjamin M. and Ruth A. Seggerman Jording.
Surviving are two sons, David L. Roth and John M. Roth; three grandchildren, Matthew and Rachel Roth and Caylyn Cass and nine brothers and sisters, Virginia (Jerry) Lovins, Mary Jording, Helen Wright, Robert Jording, Terry Jording, Beverly Scheer, Evelyn (Mike) Ebert, Donald (Gloria) Jording and Cindy Juarez.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Deborah Roth.
Dorothy had worked for El Paso Health Care, Heritage Manor in El Paso, the Apostolic Christian Home in Roanoke and was the custodian for the Trinity Lutheran Church. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aid and also belonged to the African Violet Association. Memorial services will be held at 4:00 pm on Friday, February 11, 2011, at the Trinity Lutheran Church in El Paso. Rev. Jonathan Boehne will officiate. Cremation rites will be accorded.
Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in El Paso is assisting the family with arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to a college education trust for her grandchildren, Advocate Hospice in Bloomington or the Trinity Lutheran Church Ladies Aid.
