Funeral services for Mrs. Sue Murtishaw, 90, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2003, at Evergreen Baptist Methodist Church with the Rev. Bill Ichter officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.
Visitation will be held from 5 until 8 p.m. today. Jan. 28, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Murtishaw, a native of Evergreen and a resident of Minden, passed away Monday, Jan. 27, in Minden. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Minnie Childs, and husband, Samuel W. Murtishaw.
She is survived by her son, Edward Murtishaw of Spurger, Texas; step-daughters, Marion Bridges of Baton Rouge, and Janice Malone of Houston, Texas; sister, Patsy Lowe of Minden; 11 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
