Pauline L. Bowen, age 89, a resident of Russellville, AR, died Saturday, February 9, 2002 at her home. She was born on May 7, 1912 in Gum Log, AR, to Lon and Verlon Kendrick Bowden. She was a Homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clomer Bowen; a Grandson, Bobby Bowen; a Brother, Ernest Bowden; 2 Sisters, Mildred Maggard & Ruth Vick. She was a member of the Calvary Temple Assembly of God Church at Russellville.
Survivors include a son and daughter in law, James C. And Joanne Bowen of Oklahoma City; a daughter and son in law, Phyllis and Gene Hubbard of Russellville; five grandchildren, James Carl Bowen of Tulsa, Steve Bowen of Wichita, Kevin Bowen of Oklahoma City, DeAnna Darter of Siloam Springs, Robert Hubbard of Bentonville; 6 great grandchildren; three sisters, Creola Jackson of Russellville, Alice Barton of Russellville, Helen Hurtt of Russellville; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, February 13, 2002 at the Humphrey Chapel officiated by Rev. Kevin Bowen and Gene Hubbard. Burial will be at the St. Paul Cemetery at Gravel Hill, AR under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service. The family will receive friends from 6 - 7:30 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
