Services for Ray C. Sanders, 75, of Nampa, who died Wednesday, Nov. 4, at Nampa, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Nampa 9th Ward Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 504 11th Ave. N. Bishop Darius T. Bailey of the ward will officiate. Burial will follow at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.

Mr. Sanders was born Aug 4, 1912, at Otto, Wyo. At the age of 12, he moved with his family to Ashton, where he was reared and educated. He married Carma Hendricks in 1938 at Ashton and their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They made their home in the Idaho Falls area, where he worked in the construction trade. In 1959 they moved to Nampa, where he continued working in construction. He and his wife operated the Nampa Cannery for 11 years. In 1969 he went to work for the city of Nampa, retiring in 1974. He was a member of the Nampa 9th Ward, LDS Church.

He is survived by his wife of Nampa; two sons and daughters-in-law, Verlin and Cheryl Sanders and Kirk and Marla Sanders, all of Nampa; two daughters and sons-in-law, Nola May and Clay Thornton of Modesto, Calif. and Thayla Fay and David Fredrick of Kaysville, Utah; a brother, Myron Sanders of Firth; three sisters, Eva Egbert of Ashton, Myrna Hyde of Layton, Utah, and Oieta Davis of Shelley; 12 grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters and a granddaughter.
