Mr. Roberts was post master of the Kelly post office for the past 28 years. He is survived by wife, five daughters: Mrs. E. E. Taylor, St. Louis, Mo., Mrs. O. G Ford, Pascagoula, Miss., Misses Jannie Mae Roberts, Jewell Roberts, and Dollie Lee Roberts, Kelly. Three sons: Carrie W. Roberts, Camp Swift, Texas, Cecil R. Roberts, Camp Hules, Texas, and J. D. Roberts, Jena, La.
Active pallbearers were: Eugene E. Taylor, Otice Ford, Fred Kennison, Wilbur Nelson, Scott Humphries, Elby Taylor and Kenner Humphries.
Interment took place in the Welcome Home Cemetery near Grayson, under the direction of the Riser Funeral Home of Columbia.
