Married George Washington Roberts on April 7, 1870 in Amite County, MS. Her parents were William Guy and Sarah Ellen "Sallie" Magee. Paternal grandparents were Jesse Guy and Mary A. "Polly" Connerly. Maternal grandparents were William W. Magee and Mary Ann Luter. Second youngest of twelve children. Her husband was a confederate soldier in Company B, 33rd Mississippi Infantry, Amite Guards. Several of her direct ancestors were Revolutionary Patriots, Cullen Connely (Conerly), William Guy, Lemuel Guy, Joseph Scott, Nehemiah Scott, John Magee, Jr. and John Magee, Sr. She apparently died of an accidental poisoning. She had been ill and the pharmacist gave her the wrong prescription and she died. This story came from one of her granddaughters. George and Frances Jane had eight children.
