James Thomas Lambert of Route to 1, Paden, passed away on Oct. 13 1959 at Northeast Mississippi hospital in Booneville at the age of 73 years.

Mr. Lambert had been ill for three years. He was born in Tishomingo and was a farmer and merchant. He was a Church of God member.

Funeral services were conducted at Fairview on October 15 with burial in church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Arra Tennison Lambert; five sons Govern, Garvin and Melvin all of Paden; Marvin of Los Angeles California, J. T. of Kenosha, Wis.; two daughters, Mrs. Hessel Barnes of Paden, Route 1, and Mrs. Willie McCoy of Detroit, Michigan; six brothers, George, Homer, Clarence, all of Paden, Noel of Iuka, Route 3, Grady of Iuka, Route 3, and Kellous of West Point, Miss.; five sisters, Mrs. Maudie Helton of Holcut, Mrs. Jewell Nixon of Holcut, Mrs. Ludie Strickland of Tishomingo, Mrs. Minnie Parsons of Wiggins, Miss., and Mrs. Tressie Bryram of Sheffield, Ala.

Note: Martha Claunch Howard Lambert is not James Thomas Lambert's mother but his aunt/step mother. Martha Claunch married Jackson Lambert in Jan 1889 after her sister Millie Jane Claunch Lambert had died in 1886.

James Thomas Lambert father-in-law full name is Hiram Abraham Tennison, not Hiram Anderson Tennison. He is my great grandfather. My father, uncles, aunts all have told their children his full name.
