TISHOMINGO – James Thomas Lambert, 72, died Friday, June 9, 2000, at the Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth after a long illness. He was a retired electrician for American Motors in Kenosha, Wis., a Mason and a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He attended the Fairview Church of God.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Fairview Church of God with Bro. Marshall Tennison and Bro. Earl Hisaw officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Church of God Cemetery. McMillan Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Audrey Pace Lambert; his son, Richard Lambert, and his wife, Brandy, of Tishomingo: his sister, Willie McGaughy of Shelby, Mich.; two brothers, Garvin Lambert of Tishomingo and Marvin Lambert of Woodlake, Calif.; three grandsons, Tony and Nicholas Kennedy, and Dustin DeBoer; one granddaughter, Kristin Danielle.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Thomas and Arra Tennison Lambert: a daughter, Sheila Kennedy; a sister, Hessel Barnes; and two brothers. Melvin Lambert and Govern Lambert.

Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today and until 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. The body will lie in state at the church one hour before services.
