He was born 10 September 1912 in Leon Mexico and was the son of Jose Guerrero and Patricia Lopez Elias.

Mr. Guerrero immigrated to this county as a child from Mexico 28 November 1912 through Laredo, Texas accompanied by his parents.

Manuel married Nora, they had a daughter Lulu and a set of twins. Later he married Virginia Mae Horse and had a daughter Carol Ann Guerrero along with four stepchildren.

Survivors include his wife Virginia Mae, a daughter Carol Ann Guerrero Thompson, four step children, Alice Mae Yeahquo, Bob K. Sheyahshe, Susan Lee Sheyahshe, Jay Robin Sheyahshe, four brothers, Henry Guerrero, Cruz Guerrero, Vincent Guerrero, and Joe Guerrero, two sisters, Susie Guerrero Ayala and Maggie Guerrero.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jose and Patricia Elias Guerrero, a sister Lucia Elias Guerrero and a stepson Jon Dean Sheyahshe.
