Jose Guerrero immigrated to this county from Mexico on 28 November 1912 through Laredo, Texas accompanied by his wife Patricia Lopez Elias and his son Manuel, they settled in Oklahoma in 1915.

After arriving in the United States, Mr. Guerrero was a laborer, worked for the Southern Pacific Railroad out of Chicago, Illinois, Ranch Forman in Pawhuska, Oklahoma for the Dummond C, farmer and City of Anadarko employee from which he retired.

Mr. Guerrero married Patricia Lopez Elias in Mexico July 24, 1911; of this union eight children were born. Manuel Elias Guerrero (Nora and Virginia Horse), born September 10, 1912 in Mexico, Susie Guerrero Ayala (Enrique) born March 29, 1917 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Cruz E.
