MRS. LILLIE WILSON

Lillie Tacker Wilson was born in Gosport, Iowa to John B. and Mary Graham Tacker on Nov., 2, 1877, and departed from this life Aug. 29, 1955, at the age of 77 years, nine months and 27 days.

On July 6, 1892, she was united in marriage to Benjamin Franklin Wilson and to this union six children were born. Her husband preceded her in death July 30, 1951, also two children, Mrs. Maude Hobbs and Clarence Wilson. She was the last member of her family.

She leaves to mourn her passing four children, Mrs. Pearl Booker of Wichita, Kans., Frank Wilson of Burbank, Calif., Otis Wilson of Russell and Mrs. Mabel Snedaker of Cheyenne, Wyo., 18 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren and other relatives.

She joined the Christian church when a young girl. She was a member of the Russell Baptist church for many years and after going to Chariton, the Chariton Christian church.

Mrs. Wilson spent the last two months in the home of her son, Otis in Russell where she was tenderly cared for by her two daughters, son and daughter-in-law. During all of her suffering she put her faith in the Lord and always had a pleasant smile and word for all her friends that called on her.

Funeral services were held at the Beardsley funeral home Thursday, Sept. 1, at 1:30 with the Rev. E. R. Rhodes officiating. Burial was in the Chariton cemetery.
