Mrs. Josephine Deiter, 83, life-long resident of Delta County, died at 2:50 a.m. today at her home, 1614 N. 16th St. She was born in Lathrop Oct. 20, 1873, and spent the greater part of her life in Flat Rock. Surviving are a son, Lawrence Burr, Gladstone; four daughters, Mrs. Fred Deiter, Soo Hill, Mrs. Jesse Deiter, Chemical Location; Mrs. Joseph Martin, Gladstone and Ethel at home; 26 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; three brothers, Charles Sarasin, Gladstone, Edward, Escanaba Rte. 1, and Louis, Gwinn. The body was taken to the Allo Funeral Home. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Sunday. Services will be conducted at the funeral home chapel Monday at 3:30 p.m. by the Rev. Karl J. Hammar, Central Methodist pastor. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery.
