Services for Lillian Pyle Childers, 89, of Lufkin, were held July 27, 2005 in the Gipson-Metcalf Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.
Mrs. Childers was the daughter of Jim Pyle and Lula English. She was a homemaker, and a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Clawson Baptist Church.

Sons, Johnny Childers and Jimmy Childers, both of Lufkin, Grandchildren, Clint Childers of Lufkin, Kelley Childers, Dristi Childers, Mark Childers, all of Dallas, and Jay Childers of Reno, NV;
Great-granddaughter, Claire Childers of Lufkin.
Mrs. Childers was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie M. Childers, in 1970.
