William R. Senft
William R. Senft, 74, husband of Mrs. Mary Gibbons Senft, 2009 W. Philadelphia St., York, died suddenly Saturday at 7:20 a.m. at his summer home in Upper Strasburg, Pa.
He was a member of St. Peter's (Lischey's) Lutheran Church, Spring Grove, and Lincolnway and Reliance Fire Companies.
He was a retired employee of the Blue Bird Silk Mill, having worked there 34 years. He was a son of the late Edwin W. and Amanda Zeigler Senft.
Surviving also are a daughter, Mrs. James H. Stauch, 2010 Orange St.; four grandchildren; three brothers, Lloyd Senft, Allentown; Vernie Senft, Chambersburg; and Francis E. Senft, Stoverstown; and two sisters, Mrs. Harvey Senft, 533 E. Philadelphia St., and Mrs. Homer Klinedinst, 1835 Filbert St.
His pastor, Rev. Dr. Kenneth S. Ehrhart, will officiate at the funeral Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Robert F. Koller Funeral Home, 2000 W. Market St. Burial will be in St. Peter's (Lischey's) Union Cemetery.
