MARTIN, Reva C. age 89, of Middletown, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2011 at Mt. Pleasant Retirement Village, Monroe, Ohio. She was born May 24, 1921 in Blountville, Tennessee to A. D. and Lydia (Foust) Cartwright. Reva was a homemaker who loved to bake, bowl, crochet, flower garden, golf and read. Being the youngest of six children, she loved to be around people and had many friends. She attended the Christ United Methodist Church.

Reva is survived by her husband of 69 years, Paul L. Martin; daughters, Doris (Jerry) Raleigh, Barbara (Larry) Ray, and Patricia Fletcher; grandchildren, Marilyn (Ron) Brumback, Diane (Brian Bailey) Raleigh, Jay (Lisa) Raleigh, Paula (Gar) MacDonald, Missy (Rob) McCullough, Angie (Dave) Harsh, and Robert (Carrie) Salyer; 12 great grandchildren; 6 step great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; five siblings; grandson, William Jensen, and son-in-law, Wayne Fletcher. Her family wishes to thank everyone at Mt. Pleasant who lovingly cared for Reva.
