Robert L. Nydegger, 26, of 1102 Oak Ave., died Saturday morning in the Veterans Administration Hospital at Indianapolis, where he was taken eight days ago. He had been in failing health several months. A life resident of Lafayette, he served in the Army from 1954 to 1958 and was married in 1959 to Delores J. Adams. He was a member of Hope Chapel Presbyterian church and was employed at the Lafayette County Club. Surviving with the widow are a son, Mark Twain; a stepson, Harry Daniel Adams and a step-daughter, Dorothy Alice Adams, all at home, his father Lee Daniel Nydegger of Clarks Hill, four half brothers, Arthur, Jerry, Frederick and Thomas Veach of Lafayette and two half sister, Jacqueline and Vivian Veach of Lafayette.
