Steve W. Nydegger, 53, of Lafayette, died Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009, as a result of a truck accident near Kentland.

He was born Dec. 18, 1955 in Lafayette to the late Lee D. and Ina Graham Nydegger. On Sept. 17, 1977, he married Lisa A. Barton in Rensselaer, and she survives.

Surviving with his wife are his children, Danielle Linder, Kristen Nydegger and Jacob Nydegger and a brother, Larry Nydegger (wife: Flo), all of Lafayette and his grandchildren, Braiden, Drew, Dylan and Mackenzie were the light of his life.

Also pPreceding him in death were 2 brothers, Ron Nydegger and George Hulett; a sister, Joyce Rock and a special nephew, Michael Aaron Nydegger.
