NORTH MINNEAPOLIS - Funeral services for Herman Taus were held Monday, October 28, 2002 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in North Minneapolis, MN. Interment was at the Gethsemane Cemetery in New Hope. Herman died October 23, 2002 in Robbinsdale.

Herman L. Taus was born June 6, 1924 in Strathcona, MN.

He was a tool and die maker at Honeywell for 40 years.

Herman is survived by his wife, Harriet (Boostrom) Taus; Children: David (Barb) Taus, Marilyn (Ken Dumdie) Taus, Janet (John) Gracyk, Karen (Tom) Ditty, Gayle Nomeland, Mancy Hanson and Leona (Steve) Cornish; 14 grandchildren: Matt Taus, Lindsay (Tony) Lefebvre, Laura Taus, Corie (Marty) Berry, Rochelle Taus, Terry Gracyk, Jonathon (Tracie) Ditty, Jessica, Michael and Aaron Ditty, Sara and Beth Nomeland and Rebekah and Alexa Cornish; brothers: LeRoy (Delores) Taus and Wilfred (Irene) Taus, both of Strathcona and sister Leonella (Phillip) Kotta of Roseau and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and six sisters.
