Died at 1:20 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 27, 1980, at Bogalusa Community Medical Center. He was 81, a native of Washington Parish and a resident of Bogalusa. He was a businessman.

Religious services at 3 p.m. Friday at Poole Funeral Home, Bogalusa, conducted by the Rev. Bill Patterson and the Rev. Tharel Shirah. Burial in Ponemah Cemetery.

Survived by his wife, Mrs. Sue B. Foil, Bogalusa; a son, David L. Foil Sr., Alexandria; two daughters, Mrs. Camille F. Piccinati and Mrs. Frances F. Lee, both of Bogalusa; two sisters, Mrs. Ada Brumfield, Bogaluas, and Mrs. Eunice F. Burris, Franklinton; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Norman Roche, Jack L. Foil, John Willoughby, Arnold Foil, Adnel Foil and Phillip Magee.

Honorary pallbearers will be Hiram Wesley Deacons of Superior Avenue and Highland Baptist Church, Bogalusa, and past district governors of Rotary International, District 684.

He was past district governor of Rotary International, District 684, and past president of Bogalusa City School Board.

In lieu of flowers, family requests donations may be made to the Rotary Foundation.
