The Revs. W. A. Massey and L. C. Cates will officiate with burial at Welcome Home Cemetery under direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home of Columbia.
Mrs. Shell died Wednesday at Midway Nursing Home in Shreveport after a long illness.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Vida S. DeMoss of Lake Charles and Mrs. Mildred S. Sorrells of Shreveport; three sons, Bernice F. Shell and John W. Shell, both of Houston, Tex., and William E. Shell Jr., of New Orleans; two sisters, Mrs. Eunice Burris of Franklinton, and Mrs. Ada Broomfield of Bogalusa; one brother, Lattimore Foil of Bogalusa; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
