Mrs. Eunice Foil Burris

BOGALUSA - Mrs. Eunice Foil Burris, 90, a resident of Route Six, Franklinton, died at 6 p.m. Friday, August 2nd, at the Riverside Medical Center in Franklinton.
A member of the Centenary United Methodist Church and the widow of W. Otto Burris of Franklinton, she was a long-time employee of the Washington Parish Assessor's Office. Following the death of her husband, who served as
Parish Assessor, she completed his unexpired term from 1950 through 1952.
She is survived by a son, Joseph H. Burris of Franklinton; a daughter, Mrs. Wilda B. Kilbourne of Clinton, Louisiana; a sister, Mrs. Ada F. Brumfield of Bogalusa; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The body lay in state at the Crain Funeral Home in Franklinton until the time for funeral services, which were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 4th, in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Robert I. Galatas and the Rev. Keith Dempsey officiating.
Interment was in the Ellis Cemetery.
Pallbearers were James W. Burris, Jr., Jesse D. Burris, W. Addison Burris,Benny Burke Burris, Kenneth Burris, and Hamp Burris.
