MARRIED-On Sunday afternoon, Dec. 25th, at New Salem Church, Miss Minnie Wade and Mr. Doll Rooney. Rev. Will McCollum performed the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. E.L. Wade, and is both beautiful and accomplished, and numbers her friends by the scors. The groom was raised in the New Salem community, and is an industrious, honorable and worthy young man. May their wedded life be full of happiness and prosperity.

Mrs. Mary Costella Rooney, age 47 years, of Nelson, Ga., died at the residence of her brother, Mr. L.L. Wade, No. 106 Atkinson Street, March 16th after an illness of several weeks. Mrs. Rooney is survived by her husband, Mr. Doll Rooney, one daughter, Miss Willa Nell Rooney and one son, Mr. Curtis Wade Rooney, one sister, Mrs. O.M. Pickens, of Lost Mountain, several brothers, Mr. J.H. Wade, Cascade; Mont., Mr. G.L. Wade, Mr. J.W. Wade, Mr. C.B. Wade, Atlanta, Mr. H.B. Wade, Mr. L.L. Wade, Marietta, Mr. H.G. Wade, Great Falls, Mont.
The funeral services were held at the Baptist Church, Kennesaw, Ga., on Tuesday evening, March 18th at two o'clock PM, Rev. E.T. Booth, of Woodstock, officiating assisted by Rev. G.J. Davis, of Marietta. Interment was in the Kennesaw Cemetery with John S. Dobbins & Sons in charge.
